EDD Norfolk, VA: 19 December 2024 (revised due to port congestion in Singapore). Actual availability. will depend of the vessel offload, whether additional exams are ordered for the container, and the NY/NJ and VA bonded warehouses. I've received shipments in-hand in about a week to 3 weeks post arrival depending on variables at play.

What is Coming Soon and How Does it Work?

With more than 20 years in business, my suppliers know me well by now. As arguably their biggest long term buyer, and having both the great business relationships and friendships we have, they know what I am looking for, and for years have been kind enough to send me pictures after de-barking, allowing me to choose first after harvesting trips and set pieces aside until I'm ready for shipment, giving me the opportunity to gauge interest and advertise during what could be 6 months or more before I take delivery. Because I believe in giving all customers an equal opportunity to "get a crack at new inventory" and I have so many customers ask to be notified when I do commit to purchasing new inventory, I offer you the opportunity to pre-purchase now - while a shipment is either still being assembled in Australia or in transit to the US - with the benefit of a 10% discount. The same normal discounts I offer - either free shipping or 10% discount (in lieu of free shipping to AK/HI/Internationally) for orders over $350 still apply to pre-purchases.

Once I've selected and posted items on my business Facebook page or here on my Coming Soon page, they are available for pre-purchase. Pre-purchasing requires payment now, earning you a 10% discount and helping my cash flow.

Shipment Status Notes

7 October 2024 . . . Coming Soon 2024-1 shipment has departed Australia and is enroute Singapore before sailing to NY. ETA Port of NY is 19 November. EDD Norfolk, VA is 10 December. The Pre-Purchase option will remain available until I receive the Arrival Notice, just prior to arrival in NY.

17 September 2024 . . . Shipment on its way for fumigation and ocean transport. ETA 10 December. Hopefully, east coast ports will not strike as threatened on 1 October. I'll update as the shipment proceeds.

9 September 2024 . . . My supplier finished crating the shipment, Waiting on a shipping quote and ESD/ETA. I also made some adjustments, passing on some of the burls offered. My supplier really did a great job, especially given the heavy rains that caused him to miss several harvesting trips during prime season.

4 September 2024 . . . I've finalized the shipment with my supplier. He's currently building the crates and will pack over the next few days. I'll provide the ESD/ETA as soon as they are available one the vessel booking is confirmed. The Pre-Purchase option will remain available until I receive the shipment Arrival Notice (when it is due to arrive in the Port of NY).

31 August 2024 . . . Added 96 more Goldfields Burls to Page 6 to closeout the order. My supplier will be building and packing the crates the first week of September. I'll post information on the shipping date and estimated arrival dates in NY and locally as soon as I know them.

25 July 2024 . . . Posted 11 additional Lace Sheoak boards. My supplier also notified me he's sourced about 400 kg of prime Jarrah Burl. I'll post those at a later date after I get the pictures and price them. I've been waiting to get one more load of burls before finalizing the shipment, but my supplier's lost out on 3 trips during prime harvesting season due to heavy rains in the Goldfields.

12 June 2024 . . . Once posted, every item is available for PRE-PURCHASE. The pre-purchase option is only available until I receive the shipment Pre-Arrival Notice (just prior to the ship arriving in NY). The Pre-Order option is only available for Banksia Pods.

Summer 2024 . . . I am not yet done assembling this shipment. Awaiting more pictures from my supplier, including Lace Sheoak and Jarrah Burl. ESD is July/Aug 2024. ETA in Norfolk, VA is Fall 2024. I'll update as relevant information becomes available.

Shipment 2024-1 Statistics

ETA Norfolk, VA is currently 10 December 2024 (now 14 December due to port congestion in Singapore). As always, ETA may change depending on port backlog, additional exams, unforeseen delays, etc. Recipients (Me) are advised to allow for 3-4 weeks (for NY) additional time from receipt of the Arrival Notice (for NY). I'll post further updates as I receive them.
